Department Mission

The Escambia County School District Police Department will be a professional law enforcement agency dedicated to creating safe, secure, and supportive learning and working environments across all district properties, transportation systems, and school-related events.

Legal Authority

Florida law grants school boards the authority to establish and maintain a police department. This department will operate under state law and district policy, with sworn officers trained to professional law enforcement standards.
